We began raising rabbits in the summer of 1999. We started with just a couple of mini rex does and quickly became addicted to the hobby! We now raise and show quality Mini Rex in a variety of different colors. We also have Silver Fox as well as a few resident pet bunnies.
Mini Rex are a wonderful small breed reaching about 4 lbs average weight. They have a wonderful plush coat that feels just like velvet. You don't know what you're missing if you've never cuddled a mini rex on a cold day! We have several varieties of mini rex including Castor, Red, Black, Chocolate, tri, broken and occasionally blue, lilac and tort.
Silver Fox are a large commercial breed. They weigh about 10-11 lbs. They are very sweet and make great pets. They have a beautiful black coat with silvering throughout. They're the only breed with "stand up" fur and they're overall beautiful rabbits. We only breed our Silver fox a couple times a year but will occasionally breed upon request if enough people are interested in getting them to work on the breed. We'd love to see more people getting into this wonderful breed!
