Frodo
One of the main characters in the LOTR, Frodo was taken in by his 'Uncle Bilbo' after his parents died. He is the Ringbearer.

Samwise
Gardener and faithful friend to Frodo. A valued member of the fellowship, Sam acompanies Frodo to Mount Doom.

Merry
One of the hobbits who form the fellowship, Merriadoc Brandybook often gets into trouble with Pippin, but never-the-less, is good-hearted.

Pippin
Cousin to Frodo, Pippin is one of the least adventerous out of the hobbits, but humerous and courageous.

Aragorn
Known to some as Strider, Frodo and company find out his true identity and heritage; Aragorn, heir to the throne of Gondor.

Legolas
Emerging from Mirkwod, Legolas is a significant member of the fellowship with his archery and elven skills.

Gimli
Son of Gloin, Gimli is the tough dwarf in the fellowship who helps to protect Frodo from the evil of Mordor.

Boromir
Although having a different view to the rest of the fellowship about the Ring, Boromir agrees to be one of the fellowship. Unfortunately, Boromir gets tempted by the Ring, which helps to lead to his death.

Gandalf
Old friend to Bilbo and Frodo, Gandalf leads the fellowship in their journey towards Mordor.
