| This page is a list of all artifacts and items that have been found, as well as their properties. Each artifact is assigned a difficulty class for identification. This difficulty class is compared to the intelligence statistic to see if identification succeeds. Items in stores are automatically displayed with their properties. If you can't identify an item, the shops can identify it for you at a cost of 10% of the value (15% at wholesale stores). You can only identify an item at an appropriate store. There is a number of slots that you can occupy on each character. Those are: One right-hand object. One left-hand object. (or a two handed object) One head-worn object. One necklace. One belt. One set of boots. One pair of gauntlets. Four rings. And then there are objects which you can store in your backback. As a rule, I decided that it costs one turn and 4 speed points to change the objects that you carry in your hand. The rest can't be changed during combat. I'm not going to bother with mass. Carry 100 plate armours on your back, if you want to. For the weapons, there is a number of two-handed ones. All staffs are two-handed. Spears give a choice (indicated) and swords and axes can occur as one-handed or two-handed. Two-handed versions are always indicated with (2H). All daggers and blunt weapons are one-handed. Bows and crossbows are all two-handed. Throwing daggers are one-handed. The missiles of bows and crossbows and the throwing daggers magically return when they have done their work. |
