Characters can suffer from there conditions as they are attacked by special attacks or suffer from certain spell effects. These conditions will be put on the character sheet as long as they last. | Conditions: -Wet Resistance: None Effect: Actions +1 speed cost. Causes: Swimming, D1 water, water creature attack. Cure: Rest, dry spell (D1 fire or thermal). -Frozen Resistance: Cold Effect: Actions +4 speed cost, 3d5+1, cold each turn. Causes: Freeze spell on wet character, ice creature attack. Cure: Rest, melt spell (D1 thermal). -Disease Resistance: Spirit Effect: -2 speed and endurance. Causes: Some attacks (mostly undead), spirit spells. Cure: Cure disease spell (D2 body) -Weakness Resistance: Physical Effect: -4 strength, -1 speed. Causes: Some attacks, weakness spell (D1 body) Cure: Rest, cure weakness spell -Poison Resistance: Physical Effect: -3 endurance, -2 strength. Rest has no effect. Causes: Poison attacks, gas traps, inflict poison spell (D1 earth + D1 body). Cure: Cleanse insides spell (D4 water), antidote spell (D2 life). -Fatigue Resistance: Spirit Effect: Reduces speed by 25% (mathematically rounded). Causes: Spirit spells, some creature attacks. Cure: Rest, cure fatigue spell (D2 body). -Darkness Resistance: None/Dark (if light drain) Effect: -5 accuracy. Causes: Dark places, light drain. Cure: Torchlight (D1 fire), artifacts, darkvision attribute. There are many more conditions possible, but those have specific spells connected to them. Their effects are described on the spells page. Remember that all of these conditions can be cured at a temple for a price. |
