Merry and his best friend Pippin unexpectedly Joined Frodo and Sam on their journey to Rivendell. Upon his arrival to Rivendell, Merry was selected to be in the Fellowship of the Ring. He and Pippin were later captured by orcs, and then meeting the Ents. Merry played a big part in rousing the Ents and causing the destruction of Isengard. Merry fought as a warrior towards the end of the War Of The Rings, and when he returned back to the Shire, injured, he was named Merry the Magnificant. |
