Saruman the White
In the story of The Lord of the Rings, Saruman turns out to be a betrayer, truly working towards evil rather than the good of Middle Earth. The colours used for his scenes are black and white, two very contrasting colours, this shows his two faced nature. His clothing showing his outward appearance of being good and pure while the dark nature of Isengard shows his genuine intentions. The idea that black and white suits each other well in clothing and artwork shows that his plan of betraying his fellow wizards has been successful.

In the first scene within Isengaurd the levels at which Gandalf and Saruman are show their roles. Saruman is sitting where Gandalf is standing showing that Saruman is both superior and stronger than Gandalf.
