| The Fellowship of the Ring. The first of 3 films. As you may have gathered from the title it's basically about the Fellowship of the One ring. There are 9 characters in the Fellowship, Frodo Baggins, Peregrin Took, Meriadoc Brandybuck, Leoglas Greenleaf, Aragorn (Strider), Gimli, Samwise Gamgee, Boromir and Gandalf The Grey. The 9 chosen for the Fellowship are taking the long and heart wrenching trip to Mordor where the dark shadows lie, to banish the ring forged by the Dark Lord, Sauron, who's strength returns more everyday. Frodo Baggins the Hobbit is the chosen Ring Bearer. The Rings history is long and twisted and cruelly interferes with the Bearer's mind. The Ring wants to be found and taken back to it's owner. Along come the Nazgul. Who were once men but now trapped between the livng and the dead worlds. They follow Saurons orders and hunt for the Ring Bearer. Being the first of the three films some people claimed that the ending was not sufficient for their needs but any Tolkien fan would know that it really isn't the ending......... |
