Biography: John Rhys-Davies is probably best known for his roles in Steven Spielberg filsm Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, but he has been a familiar face in many different movies. He was raised in England, Africa and Wales, and wen to London's renowned Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. His television credits include James Clavell's Shogun and Noble House, Great Expectations, War and Remembrance, Archaeology and The Untouchables. Rhys-Davies has also acted in the live action sequences of the computer game Wing Commander 3 and voice-over work for the animated series Gargoyles.
