-First -'Why the hell is this site called Hobbitses and Elfies?' let me explain... no it would take too long, let me sum up. Ok I love Gollum..hes funny! So I just borrowed the Hobbitses from him cause its so cute. I was going to take Elveses too but i didnt like the way it sounded 'hobbitses and elveses' so my friend Samantha made up the word 'Elfies'. So there ya go.
-Second- 'Why only the Hobbits and Elf from the fellowship when its called ELFIES...see? PLURAL! mwahahahah" Well 'Hobbitses and Elf" doesnt sound too thrilling now does it? and when i get some major time away from school [ie: summer?] i will most likely add more elfies like Haldir cuz hes cool! and as for them being fellowship members....c'mon the story kinda revolves around them
-Third- 'What did you use to make this site?' I used geocities free site stuff cuz im broke but really wanted a LotR site so yeah. I got some HTML help from www.funkychickens.com, and kept the HTML i used in Notepad. I used Paint Shop Pro 7 and regular Paint program to make images for my layouts, banners, etc.
-Fouth- 'How long have you been a fan of Tolkien?' Believe it or not I've only been a fan since December 22, 2002, after seeing the Two Towers at Samantha's birthday party. I thought it was cool and recieved first movie and the books for christmas. So I watched the first movie (extended version) and read the books and proceeded to see TTT four times in theaters. I know I havent been a fan for very long, only a year, but I think I qualify as a huge fan nonetheless. And now that Return of the King is out, as of today (Jan 2, 2004) I've seen it six times. Once the day it came out (dec 17), my second time on dec 27, my thrid on dec 30, my forth jan 3, my fifth jan 11 and my sixth jan 14. I'm going again on jan 27.
