Just trying to share on topics that interest me...Peace and blessings, friends.
Surviving the first week

Alhamdulillah (Praises be to God), I managed to survive my first week back to teaching. Of course, I was dead on my feet by the time each day ended and I still needed to mark their tutorials. But I like my classes this semester.

So far, for my year one students seem to be hardworking. Some of them may be slow but they are putting in effort to understand and that's very encouraging. Right now, I'm trying to figure out how to ensure that they don't drop off half way. My second years are a pretty fun lot - some very outspoken ones which make it easier to remember them. Of course, I need to make an effort to remember the other quieter students as well.

Still looking for ways to improve my teaching - have to plan my lessons well.

That's it for now.
