Hmm, once again, the time for the holiday season is upon us. Whether it is Christmas for the Christians, Hannukah for the Jews or Eidil-Adha for the Muslims, it is a season for all of us to celebrate.

And yet, let us not forget our less fortunate neighbours - for example, in Southern parts of Malaysia, they are experiencing floods where the people not only lost their houses and properties, but they can barely survive without food or water. And the homeless in various cities as well as the orphans and the poor among us.

Let this be a season for giving, as Christmas and Eidil-Adha dawn. After all, for Eidil-Adha, for Muslims means sacrifice. Not just sacrificing the lamb/cow/goat but also our time and effort to bring some cheer and hope to those who need them the most.

So to all, I wish you the seasons best and a meaningful holiday.
