The last three nights of Ramadhan

Once again, ramadhan is drawing to an end and for the most part, I feel that I've not been able to take advantage of this blessed month.  Alhamdulillah (Praises be to God), that the last three nights of Ramadhan this time fall on a weekend and hopefully I will be able to put in more effort, a sort of a last sprint, before Ramadhan is once again over; and I may not see another Ramadhan again.

For the non-Muslims, the last ten nights of Ramadhan is a significant series of days as one of these nights is so blessed by God that it is said in the Quran to be better than a thousand months.  And it is a practice of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and subsequently the Muslims to isolate themselves in the mosques during these ten days, devoting their time solely to God and away from all worldly concerns.  In the current day and age, though for most of us, it is difficult to do the full ten days/nights, we often do this practice during the weekends and whenever we can.  I truly recommend it as it is a way to recharge ourselves without having the expensive treatments or holidays.

Anyway, it's almost time for me to get out of the house...

Peace.
