Wow! Seems like this hotel has wireless internet - I'm in Koln, Germany right now.  After some difficulty with the tickets, we managed to get to Koln (where Eau de Cologne got its name) right on the river Rhein.  But we got here pretty late and didn't manage to see much of the city.  We did get to go for a short leisure trip on the Rhein.  The photo is of the Dom, a cathedral which took 500 years to build - started in the 13th century, it was only completed in the 18th century.

Tomorrow, we will explore more and then off to Hamburg to meet Natascha.
