The first day of Ramadhan (and I hear it is also Yom Kippur). Indeed a holy day. To my Muslim and Jewish friends, may God bless you on this day. Hopefully that these few holy days ahead would mean more peace and understanding being fostered in this world.

This month of Ramadhan encourages Muslims to be charitable. Thus my blast. Let us take charity to those who are unable to ask for it for one reason or another. Let us remember the poor, the orphans, the abused, the oppressed, and also the lonely souls. The hand that give is better than the hand that receive - so let us in our own little ways be those hands that give for we have received much throughout the year from God.
