Half-Life 2 Review

Expecting this game to live up to it's predecessor was expecting too much. But expecting it to come close was a reasonable request. Half-life 2 is obviously not as ground-breaking a the original, but it is a reminder of why we loved the first one. Plus, the graphics are AWESOME. I mean REALLY. They ran on my PC when it was way below the minimum system requirements, and still blew my mind away. The physics is great, too. You'll probably spend half of the game as I did, with the Gravity Gun out, bombarding Combine Soldiers with explosive jerry-cans, Zombies with arzor-sharp whirling blades, and boxes with...other boxes. Or a matress. Or even a spare health kit. Almost anything in the game can be interacted with; TVs can be unplugged and knocked down, ammo can be collected from afar, and enemy grenades can be picked up and returned to their previous owners with interest (ie. its very interesting watching the corpses fly).
