| Andromeda My mind wonders where The moons twilight meets The void outside my window and if Only to awake with her in sight. Before the solar cell collapses She looks down to the sideways earth And whispers to the air you always brake up within the arch of the heavens and when my molecules could shine through all I would see is reflections of you. She spreads her wings to fly Like the angel she is In the open lunar sky. Just to disconnect the sound and absorb the colors beneath she said Ill go catch the stars tonight if you fall into deep. She tilts her head up high while Gently shutting her eyes And catches the solar breeze within her wings. Intervening between the stars While losing her stellar warmth She fixes herself toward distant galaxies And leaves me in her arms. Pillars of star birth deep inside my heart Gives her gravitational pull to The answers I seek beyond these images. My loving girl exceeds out of range Only to deplete her signal And I find myself holding my breath, To fall faintly in these Heavens of affections That she gives to me. [dustingingrow] 1998 |
