Atlantians...a civilization that was thought of as a myth, or extinct for thousands of years, once known as the Angelar. But the truth is, is that they have remained hidden from the rest of the world, hoping to be forgotten by Man. But why would such a great race like the Angelar hide themselves? It was all due to the followers of Morgoth, the god of darkness. The dark followers saw themselves as superior to anyone, seeing everyone else as pathetic creatures, especially humans.

The dark followers of Morgoth caused chaos all over the earth, until humans began thinking all Angelar were evil, and began fighting them, slaughtering several thousands of Angelars, even those who were not involved in the dark follower's mischief. Thus the war began, even more people were killed, and Angelars were then though of as demons, despite their angelic appearance. Atlantians, no longer wanting to fight after their numbers were greatly reduced, decided to hide themselves into a territory in the Atlantic ocean, known as the Bermuda triangle which works as nothing more than a barrier to keep humans out, and people in if they manage to make it to the Atlantic Islands so they would not be able to tell the secret of their location.

So there they all lived, for thousands of years, after building their great city of Atlantis, and the Angelar were now known as 'Atlantians'. The Bermuda Triangle did not come about until humans began invading the islands, trying to be rid of the Atlantians once and for all. The Atlantians had tried to be peaceful, but the humans were still not satisfied. So it was decided that a great barrier would be set up to keep humans from trying to wreak more havoc on them. Three Atlantians with great spiritual powers were sent to three different ponts of the trangle, Miami, Florida in America, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and the Bermuda Islands.

But apperantly, the barrier was not fool-proof, though many boats disapeared, or sunk into the sea, there was always a survivor that somehow made it to the island. The Atlantian king wanted the human survivors to be executed, but followers of the god of light, Iluvatar protested against it. Iluvatarian priests and priestesses suggested building a refuge to those who end up on the islands. The king agreed to it and the small villages were built, very few humans ended up on the islands. But even so, the kind ordered that a wall be built around the city so the humans could not come in. Though it has been several years after the Forgotten Wars, the Atlantians were still very afraid of humans, except for the kind-hearted priests and priestesses who wanted to re-build the bridge between them.

They lived this way for thousands of years. Though the earth had gone through many changes over the centuries, the Atlantians did not. For they are 'immortal' untouched by age, but not by diseases, but not as much as humans do anyways. They could pass off as humans if it were not by the strange aura they give off, they do look very human, until their wings have been summoned. Normally everyone's wings are white, unless their wings have been cut off, they do grow back but black. Not only to their wings turn black, but their hearts become consumed with anger and hatred, becoming 'fallen angels'. If they're wings are cut off again, they do grow back again, but as bat wings, and their hearts become even darker, becoming 'demons'. But what happens after they're cut off after that? No one knows, no one has ever gotten their wings cut off a fourth time. Third times are extremely rare.

Atlantians are generally peacefull, they are creatures of light and purity, but not all. Though ancient they are, they still have their flaws. They're also open-minded to certain things, again, not all though. Because of their being hidden in the islands for so long, they tend to be naive. Especially of the world outside, most of them even fearful. Many of them are historians, artisans, politicians, scholars, scientists, and muscicians. They each have their own classes, warriors, dancers, bards. Each class is important in the order of Iluvatar, the bards sing the hymn, the warriors defend their people, the dancers perform ceremonies, etc.

They're a race who have a high belief in spirituality, believing that all around them has a spirit, and that spirit is connected with their own. They also believe the gods have taken the forms of dragons, many of the gods are known in ancient human mythology, such as Poseidon, and Zeus, each one controlling one element. They have a deep respect for nature, and life.

Atlantians love heights, to their homes are just a bit taller than regular forms. Their city is formed into a circle, consisting of 4 levels, the 5th level is the castle. Around the city is a river going down in a spiral which is mostly used for transportation when they don't feel like walking or flying, it can also be used for transporting large objects around the city. Some of their temples resemble Mayan pyramids. Everything looks as if its something one wouldn't even see in movies, no matter how good the special effects were.

They have a very organized and well-trained army. When fighting they're quick and graceful, almost as if dancing more than fighting. Their weapons of choice are lances, sword staffs, and bow and arrows. They try to keep their armor as light as possible, to make it easier if they have to fight in mid-air. That's pretty much it for the Atlantians, if anyone has any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
