| Lost on Purpose currently has one member: Wil Holland, originally from Cleveland but now residing in Hollywood. Lost on Purpose first released the appropriately named 1st EP in October 2003. Rising Wildfires is the full-length follow up, riding fast on the heels of 1st with its December 2003 launch. Both albums were self-released. Wil would like to thank the Academy, as well as Nancy Reagan for her enduring support. Wil's music can be heard in the upcoming indie film Squirrel Trap, and Lost on Purpose has signed away the rights to the song "Friends" to North Carolina-based Deep Elm Records, who will feature the song on the 10th and final chapter of their Emo Diaries compilation series. Lost on Purpose is currently busy distributing Rising Wildfires, lining up auditions for additional band members, and planning a third release, tentatively scheduled for a mid-March release. |
