| 16-10-2004, midnight. Helloo, I've just had the best night of my life! Why, how you ask? I have just seen Kiki and Herb..and Le Tigre {oh, and Scissor sisters}. Why was it so great?..Well letseee..I met some lovely people in the queue, I was at the front of the queue..equalling me being at the front of the crowd..a WOW in itself {I also had a WOW disposable camera aswell which equals..pictures for the website} I went to *Toys r us* with the friendly people in the queue, and we brought a cuddly toy each to chuck at Le Tigre/Scissor sisters. Mine was a horsey {you'll see why this is relevant in a bit}..I wrote on the tag;"to Le Tigre..A Dirty Hor-se, www.lostmykitten.tk" First band was Kiki and Herb..a total surprise to me..how happy was I. They did an amazing rendition of 'Baby one more time' then continued to amuse the audience with their own songs. They came off stage..and then we had crappy music for a while. Next..the highlight of my night/year/life..Le Tigre..they played some new songs {off This Island funnily enough}, some off Feminist sweepstakes and off their first album also. I discoed like their was nooo tomorrow, and also made friends with some cool randoms. They ended the set with *Hot topic* and I threw my little horsey..and oh yes..it hit JD. Hopefully they'll be on my website..if not..it was cool that my random toy hit 'em. Scissor sisters..gah..they were just fantastic, amazing show {although Le Tigre were better}. Ana and Jake were amazing, although my camera went a bit crazy with all of the sequins on Jakes outfit, and there was even giant scissors at the end. All in all, a fantastic show, and a lot of disgruntled/worried parents. *Oh, and if your reading this Le Tigre..come back to Birmingham..and sign my guestbook please!* |
