[ A step into her world ]

Life sucks - actually, no, I retract that. High School bites. Cept for the sports. There's something about soccer and lacrosse. Maybe it's the speed, the adrenaline, the pure physical brutality. I don't know really, but I love it. Sometimes, though, I kinda wish I was like the little darling of the Alcott - Paige. She's just so perfect, and she's so popular. I don't know how she does it and maintains her GPA. I mean, I'm around more often (even with my club soccer team), and I still only manage a 3.5. Luckily, as a Senior, I can take three art classes, and only four regular ones. Math is my worst, but my dad's kinda helpful with it... when he's not arguing with my mom.

So they're probably getting a divorce. Big deal, right? I don't care. Maybe it'll end all the insanity. How does Paige do it? Sometimes I think I'm jealous, but I really love my sister. A lot. She's the only thing that's stable in my life. And I'm learning, too, how to be involved. Flirty. You know, popular. Why shouldn't I be? Everyone always says I'm pretty (though I definitely think I need a nose job.) At least I have Toby. Everyone always freaks out on me when I say that I have a Doberman. But they're really very trainable and friendly. He just *loves* my friends. Too bad most of them pee their pants when they meet him.
