Kovall Calls It Quits
by Scott Sypien

LOST KENNYWOOD, PA -- After 4 seasons AJ Kovall has decide to call it quits. A member of the original Pittfall crew in 1997, Kovall brought his services and the Pittfall to The Lost Kennywood crew in 98. On March 21, Kovall released an official statement. In his statement Kovall describes the Lost Kennywood crew as "The best crew Kennywood has to offer.... and wishes good luck to all the returning team of Lost Kennywood."

During his 4 years, AJ became known for his enjoyable comebacks and joking with the crew. This didnt happen overnight. In 1998, a trip to Europe caused him to miss over a month of the season. It took the crew time to adjust to him that season upon his return home. The 2000 season proved to be AJ's best. In summerizing his experience Kovall stated, "Being part of our crew was like being part of a family....people do not understand it unless they are a part of it." Kovall now enters the ranks of the Lost Kennywood alumni. While he will no longer be appearing in Lost Kennywood during the summer months, Kovall, like all other alumni, will always be part of the Lost Kennywood crew.

A graduate of Indiana University of PA, Kovall hopes to land a teaching job in the field of music. Currently he is working for American Eagle but is in negotiations to become a manager at the Monreoville Abercrombie -&- Fitch.
