KENNYWOOD, PA --
Over the past few seasons the Lost
Kennywood crew has used ANIMAL as its crew mascot. The
crazy character has brought many laughs an added fun to
the daily grind. Recently a new character appeared on the
scene in the Pittfall booth. A large blowfish dubbed
"Hootie" by crewmember Jeff McCafferty. He has
looked after Hootie since day one of the fishes discovery.
Recently crew member Mike Sweeney
grew tired of Hooties antics and  constant
presence at the Pittfall and decided to put the fish back
into its own environment. Hootie took a long swim in the
freezing water in the water cooler. The fish took in much
water which increased the plush fishes weight by ten
times. Sweeny then sent the fish into the garbage can. It
was in this can were McCafferty came to save the fish.
Dirty and tattered, McCafferty vowed to bring Hootie home
with him, clean him up, and return him back to his home in
Lost Kennywood in the near future. We will see if any more
events happen between McCafferty and Sweeney in regards to
the fish known as Hootie.
