2000: At the start of the 2000 season Rich went part time so he could work for UPMC in Oakland. Toward the end of the summer, Rich returned to full time when people began to leave fore school. 

1999: Rich came to the crew in 1999, not only did he come but he brought along his "bag of tricks." No one ever has really found out what is in Rich's purple bag.

Other: Rich aka 'The Gargaler' is a Pittsburgh native and is attending Robert Morris College.  In the offseason Rich coaches basketball for Carlynton High School. Other nicknames Rich has picked up over his seasons at the park include "HeHe" and "Hidalgo"
