Bowman Named Supervisor
by Scott Sypien

LOST KENNYWOOD, PA -- Six Flags has officially announced that Steve Bowman has been named a rides supervisor for its Ohio park. This season Six Flags Ohio has purchased Sea World of Ohio and is combining the two into one giant megapark.

Bowman spent 5 years working in Kennywood before moving on to Six Flags. During his 5 seasons he was a fixture in Lost Kennywood, serving as manager for 3 seasons. During this tenure in Lost Kennywood, he transformed the crew into the best in the park. Considered one of the elite trainers in park history, he brought his knowledge to Six Flags in 2000. He quickly moved up the ranks at Six Flags and will now be filling the role of rides supervisor.

While at Kennywood, Steve was a great motivator and organizer. He got the best out of his workers and brought the crew closer by getting everyone together for after work festivities such as Dennys, Eat N' Park, parties, and movie night. Steve hopes to implement some of the techniques he learned from Kennywood at Six Flags making it a better place to work. As he climbs the amusement park ladder, Steve hopes to land a full time job in the industry.
