With the economy gloriously expanding, due to the sturdy fiscal foundation of productless internet start-ups, unrestricted venture capital which flowed like ambrosia, and corporate accounting not unlike that of the Russian mob, Jason accepted a Technical Writer position with a promising eB2B company in Pittsburgh, PA. He was invincible: he had a recently graduated with a liberal arts degree, had perfect credit and enthusiasm that would make SpongeBob Squarepants proud, and was now employed by a hi-tech corporation that was bursting with SYNERGY. So, Jason jammed all of his possessions into his modest 1986 BMW, said his goodbyes, and ventured north.
For the first few months, Jason woke up each morning, driven by the excitement of independence. His first professional position, while modestly salaried, was providing him with cash to spend and a pathway to a career. However, Jason was incredibly lonely....he came home from work each evening, prepared supper, jogged a few miles and lifted weights at the local gym.
