This spell was devised by the archmage Montero the Sore Loser. It creates a special bond around the life force of the caster, waiting to receive another life force. If during the duration of the spell, the caster is slain, he dies alright, but so does his killer. If the caster was slain in such way that prevents resurrection completely, the killer is also dead forever. There is no saving throw.
