Melf's Acid Arrow (Conjuration/Summoning)
Level: Bard 2, Mage 2, Sorcerer 2
Range: Self
Duration: Special
Casting Time: 2
Area of Effect: 1 arrow
Saving Throw: Neg.
By means of this spell, the wizard creates a magical arrow that may be fired by a bow. The caster doesn't need to launch the arrow; he may give it to another character who may in turn launch the arrow. However, the arrow will disappear 1 round after the casting, so the arrow must be launched right after the casting is completed. The arrow has no attack or damage bonus, but it inflicts 2d4 points of acid damage. For every three levels that the caster has achieved, the acid lasts for another round, unless somehow neutralized, inflicting another 2d4 points of damage each round. So at 3rd-Sth level, the acid lasts two rounds, at 6th-8th level, the acid lasts for three rounds, etc. A successful saving throw must be made by the target
