Immensely powerful spellweavers often develop the ability to suppress physical attacks against them by will alone, defying the ill intentions of their foes by sheer magnitude of persona. This is referred to among those of the spellcasting trade as "mantle." Spells which channel and magnify the caster's mantle can have a supreme impact on the flow of battle. Only those who wield powerfully-enchanted magical weapons will be able to dispel the force that the caster exerts on their minds. This improved version of a Mantle spell lasts longer and protects against more powerful weapons.

This spell confers complete invulnerability to all weapons except those of a +5 or greater enchantment. The effects last 6 rounds or until dispelled. This spell is incredibly powerful hence the duration is so short. However, the casting time is also very short, making this spell incredibly useful in the thick of combat where buying a few seconds can mean the difference between life and death. This spell lasts for the duration or until dispelled.

Note: This spell does not work in conjunction with a Protection From Magical Weapons spell.
