There are legends of the faithful receiving superhuman strength in times of great persecution and stress. Tearing cities to the ground and kiling hundreds of enemy soldiers singlehandedly are some feats attributed to this righteous wrath. Although spells such as this will greatly enhance the powers of those with the faith to wield them, tearing cities to the ground remains beyond the scope of most spells.

Through this spell, the caster imbues himself with the strength and skill of a fighter of the same level. The priest's strength is increased tremendously by 1 point for every five levels he has attained, his THAC0 becomes that of a fighter of the same level, and he gains 1 temporary hit point for every level he has attained. This will last for the duration of the spell or until successfully dispelled.
