Norman Hutchinson was an aspiring artist who longed for a medium beyond simple paper and clay. After several lengthy and heated conversations with his apathetic colleagues, the frustrated Norman vowed he would never paint again. Hutchison decided to take up his childhood fancy and become a wizard of renown. After years of study, he had an epiphany: magical energy is an ideal medium for art! He changed his name to Gedlee and began formulating this, his first artistic endeavor into the field of magic. The fact that it is also a traumatic experience to be struck by the spell has been an asset to adventuring mages ever since.

Upon completion of this spell a ring of electricity erupts from the caster, dealing 1d8 electricity damage per every two caster levels (maximum 5d8 electricity damage) to every creature within the area of effect. In addition, creatures struck by the ring are stunned for 2 rounds. A successful saving throw against spells halves the damage and negates the stunning effect.
