Darkfire Bolt is one of the nastiest spells ever known among the ranks of the Drow. Used frequently in the Menzoberranzan wars, this spell has been forgotten during the ticks of time. Shaping the powers of raw darkness and fire, this spell creates truly awesome effects, and few can resist it. The incantation is rather simple, and takes a short time to compete. After the completion, a 20 - inch globe of fire and darkness flies unerringly at its unlucky target. Upon impact, the globe deals an amazing 1D6 points of fire damage, 1D6 points of magic damage, and the target is blinded permanently. A successful saving throw negates the blindness, and reduces the damage caused by this horrible spell to one-half. Magic resistance will cease the spell from functioning.
