MALAGENT OF TALONA: Talona is the Lady of Poison, the Mistress of Disease, and the Plaguebringer. Talona appears as a blackened and weathered crone with a scarred face. Like most chaotic evil gods, she is more feared than worshiped, and propitiated to avoid her attention, not to draw it.  Those who actively worship her tend to gather in secret in the catacombs beneath cities or in wilderness ruins.  The clerics of Talona are referred to with the honorific "Most Debilitating Holiness." The symbol of Talona is a trio of teardrops in a triangular pattern. She makes her home in the plane of Tarterus.

The priests of Talona carry poison daggers of the faith. They have no compunction agianst using them in combat. A nonbeliever caught with such an item will attract the attention of Talonists as well as their wrath. Ceremonial dresses of priests of Talona are raggedy gray and green robes. Among the higher levels (or older members) of the church, facial tattoos and scars are common. In the field, priests of Talona prefer to wear as much armor as possible.

Old texts of Talona refer to her as Kiptytto. This may be an earlier name for the same goddess, or reflect the fact that Talona killed and replaced Kiputytto in the godhead.

DISADVANTAGES
- Memorize One less spell per level
- May not have a Charisma score greater than 11

SPHERE ACCESS
- Major access to the spheres of astral, chaos, combat, divination, guardian, healing, and summoning
- Minor access to the spheres of all, charm, and protection
- No access to the spheres of animal, creation, elemental, law, necromantic, numbers, plant, sun, thought, time, travelers, war, wards, and weather

HIGH-LEVEL ABILITIES
- Permanent Blightblood; protection from all diseases, poisons, and curses
