You leeched onto me
like a vampire in the night

My body seems tired, useless

pieces are falling daily,

when will this all end?

It's scary to lose someone,

that our heart treasures so
when our faith is tested

But we our God's children,

understanding our pain, our doubts
and through all the mist
we find our hope, our faith.

He whipsers to our hearts
that need no longer fear
He has assured
