Day One
March 12
Today I had to be up at three in the morning so that I could leave the band hall by four (fun stuff). I was in group three, made of mostly seniors, including my two best band buddies, Kelli and Christy. We got to and through the airport by about six....and our flight didn't leave until 8:30. So we did what most teenagers do to pass time, wander, eat and talk. We all got breakfast at McDonalds, then Kelli went to Starbucks and Christy and I went to the far reaches of the airport to find a Fruitilati. I got my usual, Strawberry crush (Mmmm....strawberry....) and I don't remember what Christy got....

Finally it came time to seat us on the plane. Kelli and I ended up sitting near each other and we work an arrangment so that all three of us can sit together. We call Christy to come back to us (she was sitting up front, about 20 rows away), and she comes to us grumbling. Its then we discover she had been siting in economy class....Heh heh, oops....
So this flight lasts for about two hours, which we spent most of the time watching "Star Trek Nemesis" (or at least I did, since I can't sleep while travling). At around 11:30 we arrived at the LAX airport, giving us about an hour before our next flight leaves. After a bit of wandering, we come across a hall that had large silver X's lined down the hall. I laugh and point out that the hall looks like something out of X-men, so it makes sense that we dub it with the name of the"X-men Hall." We stop by a candy store on the way back to our plane (I got some nutella!!! Mmmmm...).

We board the plane going to Hawai'i!!! Woot! We were on our way. Unfortuantly, this was the flight I called Mokule'le ko Ma'ke (Plane of Death). Our movie this time was "Clockstoppers" which was okay...The name is misleading, you would think with the title Clockstoppers, time would freeze but in acutallity they move faster than time itself...Anyway, this was a five hour flight, which wouldn't have been too bad except for the fact that it was the Plane of Death. So obviously nothing good could have come out of this flight. A few things happened:
~Kelli spilt her ginger ale all over me and herself
~She also dropped her chicken onto her pink shirt, leaving a nice orange spot
~And to put it as Kelli said it, I had a biological crisis....a very bad one....One I was totally unprepared for.

Right, so finally we arrive in Hawai'i! It was so gorgeous, I can't even begin to tell you! I'm gazing around at all the pretty flowers and
huge montains, when I get lei'd for the first time with pretty purple plumaria flowers. HAWAI'I IS ROCKIN'! We get to our hotel, the Outrigger Reef (which is located on Waikiki Beach!) Our view from the room was of the city, which wasn't too pretty at day, but at night it was magnificant.
We got a little bit of beach time, and went out to dinner at a restraunt in the mall (which is when we discovered that Hawai'i is very pricey!)
