The end of a long day was finally announced by the heavy ringing of the town square bells; their melodies echoing throughout the streets and hills until they had touched the ears of every living soul for miles.  The village of (needs a name)  was settling down as merchants and country men began making their ways home, and the marketplace prepared to close for the night.  Ailsa Maelone was busy cleaning the worn, wooden cooking counter located in the back of the town's bread shop.  Standing up straight, she streched her back and wiped off a few glistening beads of sweat using the back of her arm, incidentally leaving a trail of flour in its path.
   "What is this!?" bellowed an annoyingly familiar voice.  Mr. Warren, the owner of the shop, had obviously found something to his disliking up front.  Ailsa winced slightly at his tone; remembering what he did the last thing something was wrong.  He had picked up the display nearest to him and thrown it across the room, knocking over even more displays.  He made her stay until very late that night, cleaning up the mess he had created until everything was perfect for him.
   "Crumbs!" he continued, "What will my customers think if they find messes of crumbs everywhere!?
