Lost and Confused Thoughts (Poetry)
-Hypocrite, by Rosie ([email protected])

You look at my life
tell me what I'm worth.
You take my emotions
and shove them in the dirt.
You think you're better
just because of status.
And you hate me 'cause I tell you
there's a lot more that matters.

I think that I'm better
somehow I got away from you.
But inside, sometimes,
I act just like your "crew."
I stereotype you all
you 'jocks', 'cheerleaders', and 'preps'.
It's taken me way too long to realize
just how much I'm a hypocrite.

So maybe I've been teased
and in laughter they were pleased.
But you're not all the same,
and I'm sorry for playing this stereotyping game.
When you laugh at my jokes,
and share my fears and pains,
I wonder why most of us don't realize
INSIDE we're just the same. -------------------------------------------------------
