| Sergeant Desmond Aubrey DACRE - NZ391327. His parents were Ranulph George and Eileen Alice Dacre, of Mt Eden, Auckland. Sgt Dacre was aboard Wellington Ic bomber R1713-V with 218 Sqdn (Royal Air Force), which had taken off from Marham at about 2220 (20 June 1941) on raid on Kiel to identify and bomb the ‘Turpitz’. Lost without trace after sending a message asking for help. He is presumed to have died on Saturday, 21 June 1941 at the age of 26. Made contact with Des' relatives June 2002 |

Sgt-Pilot Fraser (Pilot) was aboard Wellington Ic bomber R1713-V with 218 Sqdn (Royal Air Force), which had taken off from Marham at about 2220 (20 June 1941) on raid on Kiel to identify and bomb the ‘Turpitz’. | Sergeant Roy Gordon HARKINS - NZ403788. His parents were Robert and Jessie Harkins (nee Stancliffe), of Rehutai near Dargaville. Sgt Harkins (Wireless operator/Air gunner) was on a training flight aboard a Wellington bomber with the 27 O.T.U. (Royal Air Force), which disappeared while over the Irish Sea. He is presumed to have died on Wednesday, 25 February 1942 at the age of 22. Made contact with Roy's relatives April 2002 |
| Sergeant Wilfred George MUTTON - NZ403766. His parents were George Jenkins and Mary Hicks Mutton, of Johnsonville, Wellington. Sgt Mutton (Wireless operator/Air gunner) was aboard a Wellington bomber with the 27 O.T.U. (Royal Air Force), which failed to return while on an operational mission on Germany. He is presumed to have died on Tuesday, 28 April 1942 (aged 21) and is buried in the Charleroi Communal Cemetery, Belgium. |
