Charms Class
"Now, don't forget that nice wrist movement we've been practixing! Swish and flick, remember swish and flick. And saying the magic words properly is very important! Wingardium Leviosa!"
*Note: Since we muggles can't very well place charms on objects to make them fly and etc.. we stick to science. So here are some magical science tricks.
Ascending Spheres
Wide Mouth Jar with lid
Rice
Small balls such as golf or ping pong balls

Place the balls in the botton of the wide mouth jar. Pour the rice on tip of the balls, stopping about 2 inches from the top of the jar. Place the lid back on the jar. Shake the jar from
side to side, NOT up and down. The balls will rise to the top of the jar.
Firework Fruit
Matches
Candle
Lemon, orange, or lime rind
Parent Wizard

Ask you parent wisard to help you. Light the candle. Peel the rind off your lemon, orange, or lime. Hold the outside of the rind close to the flame. Gently squeeze the white insides together.
Levitating Water
Short, fat, candle about 1 or 2 inches high and 1-2 inches wide
Plate
Wide mouth jar
Measuring cup
Tap water
Matches
Parent Wizard

Put the plate on the table. Pour enough wather to cover the bottom of the plate. Place the candle un the middle of the plate. Cover the candle with the jar. What happened? Remove the jar and have the Parent Wizard light the candle. Watch the candle burn for 2 minutes Have the Parent Wizard place jar over the candle again.
