Broken and beaten, yet still I cling
To all that ties to Earth my wings
With Ravenz gift of wings to fly
I still stand grounded, bound and tied
For without Him here to light my way
My wings are useless, my feet of clay
Only He can help my soul to rise
Spread my wings, stop living these lies
Without Him I know, I'll never be me
Only with His love, my soul's set free
Yet still, I hold to these ropes that bind
The courage needed to fly, I can not find
