BENISSALEM

Binissalem [Benissalem] was Spain's first off-shore DO on the Mediterranean island of Majorca.

Most of the wines are destined for the Balearic holiday destinations.

The dominant grape variety is the Manto Negro for red wines and Moll (also called Prensal Blanc) for whites.

Pla i Llevant

Wines of the Pla i Llevant are produced from a variety of local grapes to make red and white wines.
