I have been owner of the page for about two years. I was a member of TOPS but they changed their meeting time and I wanted something else. A friend bought me the books for my Birthday and I started counting. I have gone up and down but I hope will get me more inspired to lose. My highest weight was 273.75 and I am presently 265.
I worked for my Dad for 26 years but due to his death and an evil step mom I have been doing various part time work. I have a wonderful fella Barry and we have been together for 18 years this Oct 1. We were introduced as a joke and have been together ever since. I wasn't able to have human children so I have the Furry kind. First is Omega's Amazing Grace OA NAJ NAP a four year old Belgian Malinois who came into my life as a donation to our search team. Her and I have become inseperable and do Search and rescue, obedience, Agility together. She keeps me focused when things go wrong. I also have the boys. Smokey, the siamese who is very indepentent and then the Monster Beethoven. Beethoven is a two year old white deaf cat I adopted from the shelter. He was raised by humans so doesn't know he is a cat. He watches TV, puts the caller ID in Spanish, faxes things and takes showers . I also have the assorted guys who were my Dad's who live in the back yard, Tiger, Charles, Buddy and Little Girl.
I really have a goal to get in shape now as Grace and I will be testing for our state certification in Fall of 2004. We will have to search by ourselves 160 acres ( about 160 football fields) in 8 hours. The more weight I get off the easier it will be.
I hope I can continue the quality of this site that Katy has done. I look forward to working with all of you on our journey.
