| My goal is to do some kind of exercise everyday. I haven't gotten into the swing of that as of yet hahah I work shiftwork 4 days out of the week so those 4 days I find it hard to work out - except the last night then its not so bad. I guess I'm not so tired because I know I dont have to go to work the next day ;) |
| I was doing Denise Austin's LowFat Diet and Exercise Video. That is until my almost 2 year old learned that pulling the tape out of videos is a great form of fun ;) Its really great though so I'm going to get another! It gives you a good workout and you can't be too heavy to actually do this video. Its hard at first, don't get me wrong, any video you first try will be hard. But after about 2 weeks you learn the routine (very easy to pick up) and get used to it so it becomes easier. |
| I just bought the Richard Simmon's Tone and Sweat Video, the one that comes with the Stretch Cord. I was skeptical at first, but man, does that cord ever WORK YOU OUT! My muscles were screaming! It felt great though and it wasnt like an aerobics workout where you get all HuffyPuffyGimmeAir like....Don't get me wrong - YOU SWEAT - and I could notice little things about me almost after the second day I tried the tape. Things only I would notice like the top of my legs looking slimmer, my arms, my fingers...I tried to get my husband to do the video the other night, he made it to the second session (out of about 5 or 6 I guess) - You work like your legs first, then your chest, etc. Mr. ICanDoAnything won't live that one down, believe me! I've noticed everyone who has lost a significant amount of weight has done some sort of toning. I don't have time for the gym, so this is my answer. I am now a strong believe of Toning and will continue to do this tape at least 5 times a week and take my walk as well. |

| I just bought Kathy Smith's Kickboxing WorkoutVideo but I haven't tried it yet. Kindof scares me :) I've never done one of her tapes, so I guess I'll be trying that out one night this week and will be back with a report later... |

| I walk in treadmill each morning before work. Starting the wek of Sept 17th I will walk to work 2xs a week. I also plan on weight training starting tuesday and thursdays after October 1st. I also will be adding some free weight and a Richard Simmons work out to each weeks regimend. I am looking for some good advice on some...ab and stomach exercises...please let me know if you have tried some and what you find most effective. I will update and change often so I will let you know from time to time...but for now...I am a walking freak! :) |
| My friend just sent me Kathy Smith's TimeSaver Cardio Fat Burner Its pretty good although very fast paced and she does fast moves that are going to take me a while to pick up. It has 2 20 minute workouts and a 7 min cool down. I will probably do this once a week and the other nights do the other videos as Im comfortable with them. Kathy has does cardio bursts in these workouts and I liked doing them. It made it harder but harder from time to time is very good to burn that fat! |
