hello kitty: sex kitten

blah

An officially licensed Sanrio product originally released and only marketed in Japan, the Hello Kitty Vibrator / Massager series came in quite a few different model sizes. The largest models (occasionally referred to as "shoulder massagers") stand at about five and a half inches tall (or, rather, long), while the smaller models (officially marketed as "hand massagers") are only a mere two inches in length (unless you count the chain of the keychain models, which would make them about three inches in length). The larger models were really more for private home (bedroom) use, while the smaller models were marketed towards young preteen girls and the "woman on the go!"

The "basic" model, seated in its very appropriate looking retail packaging.

The "basic" model, in all of its shiny bright pink pleasurably vibrating plastic glory.
Resembling a microphone and featuring a bulbous Hello Kitty figure perched atop a shiny pink plastic wand, this is one of the larger models (top and left), which clocks in at about five and a half inches in length with a one inch diameter. Out of the entire Hello Kitty Vibrator / Massager series, this one is considered the "basic" model and the most readily available, therefore making it the one to most frequently appear on the market today. Also, rumor has it that some of the these models even came equipped with electronic voice chips, although I can't even begin to imagine what the hell something like this would say during the heat of the moment.

A variation of the "basic" model; take note of Hello Kitty's stance and the teddy bear's placement.
Over to the right is a slightly different variation of the larger models. You'll notice that on this variation, Hello Kitty is standing instead of sitting, and the teddy bear is being held in one of Hello Kitty's arms rather than sitting snuggly between her legs. Also, from what I've gathered, this is considered to be one of the rarer models, so you can probably consider yourself lucky should you happen to come across one of these variations.

Usually, these larger models are advertised as being a great way to "help you reduce and release your stress after your work!" (I'm assuming they mean any work, whether it be housewife chores to actual business work to, of course, school work.) The ads also mention that, thanks to their portability, they can provide "instant relief on the spot!" They only require one AA battery to operate, but make sure to keep a few extra on hand just in case.

Two inch model, with cover.
Two inch model, without cover.
This is one of the two inch models. You slip off the little rubbery Hello Kitty cover (left) to reveal the shiny pink dome of vibrating plastic pleasure underneath (right). The cover itself could, theoretically, probably be used as a finger puppet. This model only requires one AA battery for operation as well.

"With kitty you can get relief and power... pocket sized so you can feel good anytime, anywhere!" states the packaging for this particular model. But make sure to take heed of the warning on the back of the package: "If used in a really hot area or if hands are wet, its efficiency decreases."

Keychain models; pick your pleasure.

Presented above is the Hello Kitty Keychain / Hand Massager collection, supposedly a favorite among Japanese elementary and junior high schoolgirls, thanks to it's discreet size, portability, and easy concealment. These require a button cell battery (the same kind you find in calculators and wristwatches) in order to operate.

Sanrio officially ceased production of their series of Hello Kitty Vibrators / Massagers back in 1997, but they still turn up pretty frequently on eBay, so go ahead and take a look.

I'd probably look a bit embarassed too if I knew what damp, dark orifice I was about to be shoved into.
Oh, and did I forget to mention that Sanrio also licensed Hello Kitty-related condoms, complete with colorful packaging adorned with images of Hello Kitty's many friends, such as Monkichi (left), KamoKamo, and Badtz Maru? Apparently, not only did Sanrio promote self-gratification, but safe sex as well.

In the end, you have got to give Sanrio quite a bit of credit. Rather than try to persuade children that "sex is wrong" like everybody else, they've chosen to try and assist us with our sexual experimentations, all the while reminding us to keep it safe. Bless their perverted little hearts.
