i was rummaging through an old junk drawer in my bedroom when i came across this: an old photo that i took of my first serious girlfriend while in english class. she didn't like having her picture taken, so i had to take it when she turned away. it fails to show how beautiful she really was, but does grant her some anonymity.
this was back during our freshman year in high school. we later broke up before our junior year when her family decided to move upstate. since then, she managed to get herself pregnant around the age of 19 by some guy who promptly dumped her after finding out that she was pregnant with his child. the sad thing is, she says she is still in love with the guy, even though he supposedly treated her like shit and (according to a particular confidante of hers with a big mouth) may have sexually assaulted her, resulting in pregnancy. now she lives in a trailer with her recently divorced mother, raising the bastard child of a bastard father whom she continues to pine for.
boy, how depressing...
