Speaking of talent, these guys are over flowing with it. Tired of the same old crap you hear on the radio over and over agian these guys are a refreshing change from today's "acceptable" music. "Blistering with energy, Bill Talent captures the spirit, attitude, and explosiveness that first launched rock's rebel cause." They are going to be the next big thing to come from Canada like Simple Plan, Sum 41, etc. I'm looking forward to seeing these guys in the states sometime.
Their self titled debut ablum comes out September 16. Be sure to check out there site -----> here.
A name your probably familar with, they are the kids outa Canada and their new CD "No pads, no helmets... just balls" is doing quite well in the states. I just recently got into these guys through their single "Addicted" because they say dick in it... which is needless to say, amusing. Simple Plan's expertly crafted tunes are predominantly penned by Chuck and Pierre, then brought to life by the entire band. There a clever bunch, with a lost sense of romace lingering in their lyrics. If you have some free time be sure to check out their site ------> click its tight.
AFI is definately not a new name in the game, however upon the release of their most resent album, "Swing the Sorrow" they have broken through into a more mainstream audience. As with all of their other albums, it's so close to being perfect... its disturbing. My only compliant with their new CD is that its to short, only about 45 minutes. If you check this guys out be sure to listen to their old stuff too, it's, in my opinion, better. Some long time fans have taken their new CD as a kick in the face, but this band is cleary moving towards bigger things. Check out there kick-ass site (they use flash...well!) A Fire Inside. The band recently won a VMA MTV2 viewers chioce award, which proves that I'm not the only one that think these guys are totally sweet. Be sure to listen to "The Leaving Song pt.2", "Dancing Through Sunday", and "God Called in Sick Today"
Not much is known about the Abrabian rap sensation Group X, but all that matters is that they kick ass. After countless hours of research I've found three things. First, they only play concerts in Georgia, leading me to believe thats where they are centrally located. Second, their site is quite odd with numerous gramatical errors and finally rumor has it that there aren't even arabian... they are some DJ's from a radio station, which is quite believable due to the fact that they spell stuff wrong... on purpose and the only pictures they have of "themselves" are of Arabian leaders. However, I will still pretend that they are Arabian reaguardless and I say we let thier weak grasp of the English language do the all talking. Be sure to check out "Mario Twins", "Jonny Poopoo Pants" "Bang Bang Bang" and "Soccer Team"
