| The Origins of Panda-Boy Or, the Fnord that lost its way... |

| Okay, Freshman year we had to take a class called 'New Millenium Tech 9', a class to show Freshmen what skills were needed in the workforce as we approached the new millenium (2001, people! We started with year 1, and count the time between the numbers! 1 to 2 is a year, etc.) Anyway, during this class Jesse introduced us to fnords (do a web search, people, I'm not your teacher.) Anyway, we were having fun coming up with our own when this conversation started with Christopher Henning, the Panda-Boy. Chris: What about Panda? Me: Panda? Chris: Yeah, panda. Here, say chicken four times. Me: Chicken, chicken, chicken, chicken,... Chris: Now say toast. Me: Toast. Chris: Panda. Now doesn't that sound weird? Me: ... ... ... No. It doesn't sound strange at all, Panda-Boy. Note: This was also the origin of "Chicken, chicken, chicken, chicken, toooaaaasssssttttttt,...Panda?" We still use that one to this day. lol. Good times. |
