| My Mother's Cookies My mother is much too modest to tell this story, but on my father's 50 birthday, she had sent some cookies to the announcers of the game. They announced my father's birthday, and said they wouldn't have done it if it weren't for the bribe of delicious cookies. My mother makes great baked goods. But watch out when she gets close to dinner and wants to experiment. |

| My Dad's Canadian Lasagna My dad's lasagna is legendary. My Calculas class had plenty of tastes of the rich bounty it provides, and I always knew they were happy with it. He got a Thank You card after the first batch. He's always willing to cook it, which he cooks, like everything he makes, by taste and approximations, following no set recipie. He will complain that it's too runny, or he used an inferior sauce, and the taste is so good of what he's made, that you will proclaim it King among Lasagnas. And yet he says it's not quite good enough. The man produces ambrosia, I swear. |
