| Anya Emerson entered the series as Anyanka. A vengenace demon who created Sunnydale to turn into hell. At the end of the episode, her power center was lost, and she was miserable, also going along with she looked miserably for it. Still evil in her own ways, she and Willow performed a spell to bring back her power center, but instead brought alternate reality Willow. She wreaked havoc, and Anya was still determined to find her power center, but became attracted to other things, such as Xander Harris. Willow hated Anya from point one, and that continued throughout the series. Willow and Anya fought constantly, and it came to an end when Willow resurected an ex boyfriend of Anya's who happened to be a troll. In season six when Xander left Anya at the alter, Anya accepted D'Hoffryn's offer of vengeance. Anya was once again Anyanka, and tried to do what she used to be able to do, but she had a soul now. She sold out her vengeance when a wish killed a whole fraternity. It was Willow who called on D'Hoffryn to help Anya, who sacrificed Halfrek instead of Anya. D'Hoffryn later sent an assasin afer Anya, who was killed by Buffy. Anya and Willow got along fine after that, in some situations, especially when the First came to town. Anya was last seen and remembered in Chosen when she was killed. | |||||||||||||||||
