Amy Madison was first introduced in season one episode The Witch. Her mother, Catherine, switched bodies with her daughter to relive her glory days as a cheerleader. She caused harm, and even death to those ahead of her. When she cast a spell on Buffy, that left her with only hours to live, Amy in her mother's body and Giles switched their bodies back, leaving Catherine trapped in cheerleading trophy when one of her spells backfired. She was later seen in Bewitched, Bothered, Bewildered, when she cast a spell on Xander that backfired. Wanting Cordelia to want him after she broke up with him, Xander sought out Witchcraft as an answer. When the spell caused every woman in Sunnydale to want him, Amy was forced to reverse the spell by Giles. In the season three episode Gingerbread, a demon spread the hatred for witches amng Sunnydale, leaving concerned parents aware of wiches monsters and the forces of darkness. Willow, Amy and Buffy were later to be burned at the stake, but one of Amy's spells backfired turning her into a rat. The spell was reversed in season six where she wreaked havoc among the scoobies. In saeson seven, Willow sought her out to help undo a spell, but she failed. It was later revealed that Amy had cast the spell to drive Willow insane. Amy's current whereabouts are unknown. |
