Hobbies: Enjoys all sports, particularly baseball. In addition, serves as an umpire during baseball scrimmages with his trademark maneurver in which he pulls down his right sleeve and makes an "L"-shaped out sign with his arm.
Bio: Sonny, a senior at Los Altos High School, will serve as the "Chone Figgins" for the Los Altos Conquerors. Originally scouted and recruited by erstwhile Coach Dennis Twombley, Simmons is poised to make an appearance in a Varsity game before the season's end. But if you blink, you may not see him blazing around the basepaths. Said Twombley, "I know speed when I see it, and boy oh boy, Sonny definitely has major league speed."
